Meet the Group Leaders
Fern and Ken Nerhood have been part of the St. John family for 30 years. Their ministry has focused on many areas throughout the years including service projects, children’s ministries, Bible studies, and the Church Council. Fern is now on staff as St. John’s Children and Families Discipleship Director. Ken is a deacon focusing on church facilities.
The Doers Life Group takes its name from James 1:22-25 which says to be “doers of the word... doers who act.” We gather monthly for fellowship, support, study, and prayer. A sweet treat is usually part of the fun as well. Service is also a big part of our group and we have continuing projects that we do together.
